Health and Healing

I was lucky enough to raise my children in the mountains of northern California, growing most of our food — gardening, milking cows and goats, raising chickens and turkeys — and finding natural ways to keep myself and my family healthy. Living in nature, eating fresh organic food, drinking pure water, breathing fresh air and swimming in the river in summertime was a wonderful foundation in natural healing.

I have a fierce curiosity when it comes to finding the source of my patients’ health problems, and I also hold a firm belief that any illness or injury can heal. 

Currently in private practice in Gualala, CA., I offer CCT sessions , Traditional Chinese Medicine (acupuncture, herbs, dietetics, qi gong), Reiki / Meta Reiki, Flower Essences, functional diagnostics — from vibrational to physical medicine.

Some background: In 1990 I became a Reiki Master; Joy Metcalfe and Laurie Grant are my Reiki Masters.

In 1997 I graduated from Five Branches Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Santa Cruz, CA. with a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and received my acupuncture license (#6323) from the California State Acupuncture Board in 1998. I have been working as an acupuncturist in Mendocino County, CA. since then. 

I was attuned to Meta Reiki I in 2003 and Meta Reiki II in 2005, and completed Joy Metcalfe’s Apprenticeship Program in 2005. Her website: www.rainbowlotus.us.
